The Gallatin County Fair Board meets the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

Fair Board: The County Commissioners, as allowed by state statute, use an application process to appoint members of the community to serve on the Fair Board. Resolution 1991-46 was passed in December of 1991 increasing the number of members from five to seven and in August 2011, Resolution 2011-072 was passed increasing the number of members from seven to nine.. These members serve two-year terms with one Commissioner serving as liaison. The members of this board are given the powers and authority to hold a successful annual agricultural Fair and other events as they see fit. They also have the authority to manage the Fairgrounds on a year-round basis. Gallatin County’s Fairgrounds Manager is Sue Shockley.
