Big Sky Transportation District:  Created by a vote of the registered voters of the district on November 18, 1991, and governed by §§7-14-201 through 7-14-246, MCA, this district has a three-member board, appointed by the County Commissioners to serve staggered terms.  The charge of this board is to establish, operate, improve, maintain, and administer the district.
