ENTRIES: Grasshoppers are to be brought to the Fair at 10:30AM Saturday, July 20th
Judging will take place at 11:00 AM.
RULES:
1. The Super Grasshopper must be a Gallatin County species and caught in Gallatin County. Location must
accompany the grasshopper.
2. The Grasshopper must be brought in alive.
3. The Exhibitor will be responsible for feeding and care of the grasshopper.
4. The contest is open to persons of all ages.
5. The winner will be judged on:
-Length of the body including the wings
-Width of the head (side to side)
-Length of the head (top to bottom)
-Width of the thorax (side to side)
-Length of the jumping leg
Rosette ribbons will be awarded to the top 5 grasshoppers.
The Grand Champion Grasshopper will be awarded a $50 Savings Bond .
