BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION:
Commissioner White was born and raised on a ranch west of Bozeman.  Steve and his wife Pam live on the family ranch and have been married for 32 years.  They have one son, Matt, who graduated in Finance from Montana State University and now owns an Internet Design Business.

EXPERIENCE:
2007 – Present  Elected and serving a six-year term as a Gallatin County Commissioner
1978 – Present  Owner of a software development company
1989 – 1993     Owner of two Sandwich Shops
1977 – 1979     Co-owner of Sporting Goods Business
1974 – 1978     Geohydrologist for DNRC, Water Rights Bureau


EDUCATION:
High School Diploma – Bozeman High School (1969)
B.S. Degree Geology & Computer Science – Montana State University
Post Grad studies in Geohydrology – Montana Tech (Butte)
Private Pilot (1976)

POLITICAL INVOLVEMENTS:
Gallatin County Republican Party Finance (Chairman) (4 years)
