The Gallatin County Treatment Court is a voluntary post-conviction adult treatment that provides an alternative to traditional sentencing where substance abuse is a motivating factor for the offender’s criminal behavior.
The eighteen-month Program’s goal is to offer participants tools to overcome addictions, modify behaviors and lead productive, crime-free lives.
Once an applicant is accepted into the program:
* Participant abstinence is monitored via frequent testing, ongoing contact, and unannounced home visits. * Case Managers help participants connect with local community-based rehabilitation. * Individuals are monitored through frequent Court appearances and Case Manager meetings. |

Phase II: Requires 1) attendance in recommended treatment, 2) Court appearances generally every other week, 3) weekly Case Manager appointments, 4) weekly testing, 5) three support group meetings and one sponsor meeting each week, and 6) fulltime employment.
