It is the inmate's responsibility to notify friends and relatives of his/her housing block. There is a limit of three visitors per inmate at one time. The time limit is one half hour and the inmate will only be moved one time per visiting day. It is the inmate's responsibility to coordinate visiting times to maximize visits. Special visiting days for the entire facility are: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Visitors must have photo ID with them.
Any visitor wearing attire deemed unacceptable will not be permitted in the facility.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
Visitors are responsible for their belongings and control of their children.
Residents serving 48 hours or less are not permitted normal visiting privileges.
Visitors may be turned away due to:
Space Availability
Failure to provide ID
Disruptive conduct or violating rules or court orders
Court ordered separation
Influence of drugs or alcohol
Odor of alcohol or drugs
Having been an inmate in the prior two weeks
Inmate not wishing to see the visitor
The Detention Center has the right to refuse or terminate a visit based on unacceptable behavior, violation of above rules or anything that may threaten the security of the facility. This may include an event in the facility unknown to the inmate and visitor.
Special visits are considered by shift sergeants and administration.
