If your Gallatin County project supports the character and mission of the DUI Task Force, we invite you to apply for a Community Education & Activity Support and Enforcement (CEASE) Award.
Typical sizes for these awards range from $100 to $3000.

Get started on the process of applying for a DUI Task Force Community Education & Activity Support and Enforcement (CEASE) Award by following these steps:
1. Your project must support the DUI Task Force mission or vision as expressed in the 2011-2013 Strategic Plan. You will need to include in your application how your application how your project supports the DUI Task Force Strategic Plan.
2. Allow a month for your project to be considered. The final submission date for each fiscal year is May 5th (fiscal years end June 30th). Your application should only present projects for a particular fiscal year.
5. If your grant request is for a purchase totaling over $1000, you must fill out this Bid Tabulation Form showing you solicited bids for your project or documenting that you already own similar equipment from a particular manufacturer. Include the bid form with your application.
6. For purchase of equipment by law enforcement agencies, you must show you have first requested funding from the Montana Department of Transportation. Find more information, here: Montana Department of Transportation.
7. Include a sample advertisement/press release with the application that credits the Gallatin County DUI Task Force for funding equipment purchases or underwriting your project or activity. You will be expected to submit this to local media when your project is funded and to show that you have done so before your receive your funding.
8. Please include in your application who is your contact for this grant and what is the mailing address for your organization.
9. Send your application saved as a Word file to the Task Force coordinator at: info@gallatinduitaskforce.info. Mail the remaining documentation to the Task Force at: 104 East Main, Ste. 313. Bozeman. 59715.
10. Your application is first considered by the CEASE Awards Committee. A member of the committee will contact you if they have questions or concerns about your application and to confirm when your grant will be presented to the Task Force. The meeting schedule is available on the Task Force website under “calendar.”
By applying for an award, you indicate that you understand it is your responsibility to monitor your commitments under this agreement.
How to submit for reimbursement for your CEASE Award expenses:
1. If you are being reimbursed for a purchase, you will need to include a receipt for those goods marked PAID by the vendor.
2. For other projects, please write a letter to the Task Force acknowledging the award, with reimbursement details.
3. Include a cover sheet clarifying who the check should be made out to with the mailing address. Include who the check should be made out to along with documentation of expenses.
4. Include in your invoicing the date on which you will be available to report back to the Task Force on the outcome of your project. Also include documentation of a press release, including when and where it ran.
5. SEND all documentation to the DUI Task Force office at : 104 East Main, Ste 313; Bozeman. Mt. 59715. Do not email. Allow up to a month for reimbursement.
