Environmental Health Services (EHS) coordinates with local fire departments, Disaster & Emergency Services and MDEQ to respond to spills and releases of hazardous materials in Gallatin County. Primary responsibility for regulation of hazardous materials resides with State and Federal

Illegal Dumping Investigations
EHS shares responsibility with the State for investigating and acting upon reports of illegal dumping. Call EHS at 582-3120 to make a report or request information. Within the City of Bozeman limits you can also contact the Zone Code Enforcement Officer at 582-2270.
Junk Vehicle Program
Disposal of junk vehicles is the responsibility of the Gallatin County Road Department. Call them at 582-3260 or click here for additional information.
