Robotics introduces science, math, engineering and technology skills while teaching life skills. You will learn to build and program a robot to perform increasingly difficult tasks. At the completion of the project, youth are skilled enough to enter national LEGO League competitions.
Robotics, Level 1 - EXPLORER 5510
In Level 1 you will learn how to build and program a robot to use sensors to interact with its environment. As a team member, you will make decisions and organize information to complete Level 1.
Project Requirements
To complete this project you should complete 14 activities, which may take longer than one year.
Materials
M Robotics EXPLORERS, BU-8364, $4.00
L Helper's Guide - Robotics COACH, BU-8366, $4.00
Robotics, Level 2 - PROBE 5520
Level 2 will guide you to study more advanced topics in programming and the mechanics of robotics. You will use subroutines and variables to achieve more precise movements with your robots. You will also learn how to build your own custom functions. You will practice and develop creative thinking, decision making and leadership skills and complete fun challenges.
