Befrienders matches community volunteers with a compatible senior citizen volunteer who wants a regular companion. Visits occur weekly for at least an hour and preferably for a year or more. The matches engage in activities such as chatting, errands, and social outings as desired. There is no cost to any participants.

Bozeman Deaconess Hospice is looking for committed community members with flexible availability to be part of its caring team. Learn skills necessary to assist in the care of the terminally ill and give support to family members or assist in the office. A training course is required but the rewards are great.

You are invited to join Bozeman Deaconess Hospital’s dynamic volunteer program. Opportunities are available day and evening, seven days a week. Volunteers are asked to make a minimum of 2-4 hour commitment each week. Benefits include a free meal for each shift and participation in hospital and volunteer services events.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOSPICE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM – 406-556-0640
Volunteers are welcome at Rocky Mountain Hospice! They provide companionship to patients with life-limiting illnesses. There are other volunteer opportunities such as, Sewing Comfort Quilts, Bereavement Bears and helping with clerical duties in the office. Volunteer to be a companion and receive an hourly stipend and other benefits. Visit and help seniors with light chores, meal preparation and maybe a trip to the grocery store.
SENIOR CENTER VOLUNTEER
Senior Centers in your community so appreciate all the volunteers who help out in so many ways. You may volunteer to deliver Meals-on-Wheels and/or to help prepare and serve meals in the Senior Center nutrition program. Most activities are carried out thanks to wonderful volunteers. From calling bingo, helping with a Fish Fry, leading exercise classes, working in a second hand store, working at the Senior Center front desk, in an intergenerational child learning center, or helping with special events, you are always welcome and appreciated.
