Licensed Establishments  (restaurants, grocery stores, mobile units, etc)
"Food Safety" is the cornerstone of any food service operation from full service restaurants, grocery stores to temporary events.  The Gallatin City-County Health Department currently offers Certified ServSafe Food Service Employee classes.  Check out the training schedule for food safety.

Temporary Food Service Events
Gallatin County has numerous events that serve food to the public throughout the year  (e.g. Farmers Market, Sweet Pea, any time food is being sold to the public).  All vendors wishing to serve food at a temporary event must obtain a license from Environmental Health.http://www.gallatin.mt.gov/public_documents/gallatincomt_environmental/00F756EC-000F8513.1/06202007_31803_0.gif?src=.BMP
