Seasonal Influenza and 2009 H1N1 Influenza
This message was last updated on Tuesday, January 26, 2010
and will be updated as information changes
The Health Department is now providing free H1N1 vaccinations for everyone over 6 months of age. Parents are strongly encouraged to get their children vaccinated, as H1N1 influenza has been a bigger threat to children and young adults than the adult population. Also, all children under age 10, who have received an H1N1 shot or nasal mist, must get a second dose of the vaccine to be fully protected against this novel form of influenza.
On Friday, January 29, 2010, a free, walk-in H1N1 Flu Clinic will be held in West Yellowstone at the Povah Community Center from 2pm - 4pm. The Povah Community Center is located at 10 S. Geyser Street. No appointment is necessary
We will continue to have walk-in seasonal & H1N1 flu clinics on a weekly basis through February! Hours are:
Every Tuesday morning, 8:30am – 11:30am and
Every Thursday afternoon, 2pm – 6pm
Our location is 215 W. Mendenhall on the corner of north 3rd & Mendenhall, directly across from Wells Fargo’s drive up window.
If you prefer to make an appointment for another day and time, call us at 582-3100. For additional information about the status of H1N1 and seasonal influenza in Gallatin County, call the Health Department Flu Hotline at 582-3117.
