Closure of Gallatin City-County Health Department’s Human Services Office and Office of Public Assistance
The Gallatin City-County Health Department’s Human Services Office, located on 12 N.3rd Avenue, will be closed Thursday, December 20th due to mechanical failure. Health officials plan to reopen office doors on Friday, December 21st depending on the progress of work. Department programs affected by this closure include Immunization and Travel Clinics, WIC program, and Public Health Nursing.
Individuals who have scheduled appointments for immunizations and travel clinics and those wanting to attend Thursday’s walk-in flu clinic from 1 pm to 5 pm should go to Room 301, third floor of the Gallatin County Courthouse, 311 W. Main (directly across from Human Services). Please contact the health department at 582-3100 with any questions and for updates related to the closure.
The Office of Public Assistance (OPA), located on the south side of the Human Services building, will be closed on Thursday, December 20th and until noon on Friday, December 21st. During this time, OPA services will be offered at the 220 W. Lamme-Room 1B office during those dates. Individuals with items to drop off for their worker should place them in the drop box by the front door off of Main Street. Those with questions for OPA may contact their office at 582-3010.
